The Generate Test Data endpoint returns synthetic data based on the defined schema. This includes realistic entries for various fields such as names, emails, addresses, and more, structured according to the specified tables and relationships.
The response data is organized in a JSON format, with each table represented as a key containing an array of objects. Each object corresponds to a row of generated data, with fields matching the schema definition.
Users can customize their requests by specifying parameters such as table definitions, column types, row counts, and relationships between tables. This allows for tailored data generation based on specific needs.
The List Field Types endpoint provides a comprehensive list of over 50 field types available for data generation, including UUIDs, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and more, enabling users to select appropriate types for their schemas.
The Health Check endpoint returns three key fields: "status" (indicating API health), "version" (showing the current API version), and "timestamp" (providing the exact time of the check), allowing users to monitor API status effectively.
Users can integrate the generated data into development and testing environments, using it to seed databases, populate CI/CD test fixtures, or load realistic data for QA testing, ensuring their applications function correctly with diverse data scenarios.
The List Templates endpoint returns a JSON array of pre-built schema templates, each containing a name and description. This structure allows users to easily identify and select templates that suit their specific use cases, such as e-commerce or CRM.
Data accuracy is maintained through schema-aware generation, ensuring that relationships and field types are respected. Additionally, deterministic seeds allow for reproducible data, which is crucial for consistent testing and development scenarios.
